About

Marriage is a lot more than just two people legally being committed to each other.  Whether we admit it or not, we're drawn to deep relationships.  Whether we're real even with ourselves or not, there is something enticing about telling someone you love them and you want to be with them forever.

Combine that thought with studies that show married people are healthier, better at business, happier, and they live longer.  Whether you want to believe it or not, marriage has something to teach you.  That's not to say get married to teach yourself a lesson (there are many people who indeed should never get married and there are a TON of miserable married people).  What I'm saying is that lessons learned in marriage saturate the rest of life.  There is a direct correlation: those who are successful in marriage are more likely to be successful in life.

If the above is true than the foundations of marriage will be the foundation of any successful venture we take on in life.

Please hear this:  I am not saying that in order to be happy you must be married.  I'm not saying that in order to be successful you must be married.
